FRUITS AND VEGETABLES
In our field gardens and greenhouses, we produce a wide variety of vegetables and fruits to feed our students, staff, families and the local community. These products include but are not limited to:
- lettuces and leafy greens (spinach, kale, collards, chard, etc.), cabbage, broccoli raab, arugula;
- tomatoes, beans, squash, corn, cucumbers;
- beets, turnips, carrots, radishes, onions, garlic.
We use biodynamic practices and whenever possible buy organic seed or save our own seed. The presence of animals on the farm means that we have a ready and plentiful supply of compost material and try to grow with as little outside inputs as possible.
You can buy all of our products at the Santa Fe Farmers Market every Saturday morning or by joining our CSA in Santa Fe, Los Alamos and Taos. Our dairy products are now available at La Montanita Co-op (Santa Fe and Albuquerque), Los Alamos Cooperative Grocery, Keller’s, Espanola Community Market, Center Market (Espanola), Taos Co-op and Cid’s (Taos).
